Boston Blows Out Dallas In Nba Finals Opener

Celtics Take Game 1 in Style!

Boston Blows Out Dallas in NBA Finals Opener

Porzingis Returns with Impressive Performance

In a thrilling NBA Finals Game 1, the Boston Celtics dominated the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 on Thursday. The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, showcasing their depth and dominance against a depleted Mavericks squad.

Kristaps Porzingis, making his long-awaited return from a calf injury, led the Mavericks with 20 points, including 18 in the first half. However, the Celtics' balanced scoring attack proved too much for Dallas, with five players in double figures.

Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 23 points. Marcus Smart contributed 18 points and 7 assists, and Al Horford chipped in with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Mavericks struggled offensively, shooting just 40.2% from the field compared to the Celtics' 48.2%. Luka Doncic, who was limited by a thigh injury, had a quiet game with 18 points on 7-of-20 shooting.

With Game 2 set for Sunday, the Celtics will look to extend their lead while the Mavericks hope to bounce back with a healthier Doncic in the lineup.
