VfL Bochum Extends Goalkeeper Manuel Riemann's Contract

Bundesliga club VfL Bochum announced today that they have extended the contract of goalkeeper Manuel Riemann-Lorenzen until 2020. Riemann, 27, had signed with Bochum during the 2015 summer break, initially until 2018. His impressive performances for the club led to an early contract extension.

Riemann has been a key player for Bochum, helping the team maintain a strong defensive record. He has also been a consistent presence in the Bochum lineup, making over 50 appearances for the club since his arrival.

VfL Bochum sporting director Christian Hochstätter expressed his delight at Riemann's contract extension, saying, "Manuel has proven to be a valuable asset to our team. He is a talented goalkeeper with a strong work ethic, and we are confident that he will continue to play a key role for us in the years to come."
