Posted on 2022-11-14 1345 EST by Kim Morrissy

On November 14, 2022, Tatsuki Fujimoto's Twitter account was suspended. The reason for the suspension is currently unknown.

New Account Claims to Be Fujimoto

Shortly after Fujimoto's account was suspended, a new account claiming to be him emerged. The new account, @Futo_Fumi_Chan, posted a series of tweets begging followers to believe that it was him.

"I'm really Fujimoto," the account tweeted. "My old account was suspended, so I made a new one. Please believe me."

The new account has not yet been verified by Twitter. However, it has already gained over 100,000 followers.

Fujimoto Posts Concept Art to Prove Identity

In an effort to prove that the new account is legitimate, Fujimoto posted a piece of Chainsaw Man concept art to the account.

"This is a piece of concept art for Chainsaw Man that I drew a while ago," Fujimoto tweeted. "I hope this proves that I'm really the mangaka of Chainsaw Man."

Account Verification Pending

The new account is still pending verification by Twitter. However, the fact that Fujimoto posted concept art to the account is a strong indication that it is legitimate.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update this article as more information becomes available.
